The fisrt annual Gaslamp Art Showcase was held on March 29, 2008 on the streets of our famous entertainment district in downtown San Diego.
We featured a wide variety of talented artists in a diverse showcase that was Juried and prizes will be announced soon for the "Artist of the Day" and "Favorite Emerging Artist".
The Gaslamp Art Showcase hosted many artistic works in unique settings throughout the Gaslamp Quarter. The Reflection Art Show on Fifth Avenue under the iconic Gaslamp Archway, The Spyglass Art Exhibit within gorgeous Gaslamp Quarter venues and the Kaleidoscope Art Tour in our beautiful Fine Art Galleries, Fabulous Rooftop Lounges & more.
The event, produced by Gaslamp Quarter Association and our partner businesses, invited people to rediscover our National Historic District and tour each element of this wonderful festival. Various restaurants and shops displayed appealing art and folks from all over the county enjoyed the fabulous ambiance of the Gaslamp Quarter.
