Down pillows, crisp bed sheets…aahhh… luxury from beginning to end.

What more could you require?

The Gaslamp Quarter recommends more than a dozen distinctive hotels to cater to your pleasure. Some are exclusive boutique hotels that are a fantastic adventure within themsleves and some are so close to Gaslamp, you can sleep-in and still make the morning session at the Convention Center across the street.

At our newest destination, the Ivy Hotel, the rooms have a yin and yang balance of modern, classic, masculine and feminine elements influencing the palettes, textures and furnishings. This boutique hotel was designed from the ground up to be world class. From Envy, a multi-level nightclub and lounge for trend-setting scene-sters in search of the ultimate playground to Eden, a roof-top entertaining space featuring plush furnishings and breathtaking wraparound views of the skyline, this is the height of what is happening in downtown San Diego today.

Melding the artistic sensibilities of yesteryear and the modern comforts of today, Hotel Solamar’s solamar.webCasablanca-style décor partners well. As a testament to their endeavor to be artistic as well as comfortable, Solamar features J6 Bar, a fabulous roof-top patio with a delicious pool as well as excellent dining at Jsix.  They are also proud to offer a pet-friendly stay during vacations and business stays.

Sexy, sophisticated, fully serviced and from the same designers of the luxurious Ferrari automobiles, The Keating Hotel offers pure, clean ergonomic design in their rooms.

The result? A unique and emotional experience during your stay.  The gorgeous historic building turned posh hotel also has a semi-private social center called the MINUS 1 Lounge. It's exclusive to hotel guests and an eclectic mix of the "Who's Who" of Southern California. The Keating defines a new standard for lifestyle hotels worldwide, blending exemplary service with elegant Italian design, SoHo style and So Cal chic.keating_lobby.web

Snuggle up at the fire pit at the Hilton San Diego/Gaslamp before you head up to a classic and crisp room decorated in urban, sophisticated style. The New Leaf restaurant will complete the experience with a tasty international menu that is sure to please. Locals rave about the breakfast and enjoy the outdoor dining opportunity

Did you choose one of Hilton's rooms within the Lofts on 5th Avenue? It’s almost a hotel within the hotel that provides urban loft-style living. This Hilton also features an outdoor pool and spa, lots of great meeting space and perfect proximity to the Gaslamp and the Convention Center.

Guests appreciate the fine craftsmanship in the Gaslamp Plaza Suites, a European style hotel built in 1913. It offers sculpted Corinthian marble, Australian gumwood carpentry and hand cut tile mosaics. You won’t walk far to any Gaslamp hotspot here and thier staff are Gaslamp insiders! They know all the scoop and provide tours each week.

Stay in the middle of it all at the San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter. Unexpectedly Marriott, it's one of the city’s most comfortable chic boutiques and it neighbors both Petco Park and the Gaslamp. The hotel is home to Altitude Skybar, the highest open-air rooftop bar in the region, recently ranked first on Sunset magazine’s ‘Top 10 Rooftop Bars' and Soleil@K featuring a nouveau California-style menu from Executive Chef, Scott Leibfried of FOX's reality series, Hell’s Kitchen.gaslamp.marriott.web The rooms are fabulous with deep comforters, spacious bathrooms and big plasma TV's.

Those who know the Gaslamp, know the Ramada Inn – St James Hotel. They've seen the action from the Harborview roof top terrace and then they've retreated to the 1,300 square foot Presidential Suite. This is Gaslamp – 100%!
For a real down home treat, try Brian's Eatery & Drinkery on the ground level of the Ramada, for thier classic American menu. They offer comfort foods and late night hours!

San Diego’s historic heart would not be the same without a Victorian masterpiece such as the magnificent Horton Grand Hotel. They don’t make hotels like this anymore. Walk up the 100-year old oak staircase to your room, open the hand carved armoire and pull back the lace curtains before you meet your friends in the lobby at the antique Palace Bar. Tales are told of haunted rooms but you wouldn't believe in old ghost stories like that. . .would you?

ramada_webFor those with a budget in mind, consider a peaceful nights rest at the Pacifica Hotel. Located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, they’ve been family operated since 1972 and offer that “home away from home” atmosphere.

Comfort Inn Gaslamp is a great hideaway. A warm and comfortable setting with a helpful staff lets you sleep well knowing you paid a great price and can still enjoy all the Gaslamp has to offer.  We like this location for the kitchenettes and a mini-fridge you can fill yourself.

Just a few blocks from the Gaslamp, at the W Hotel, discover the perfect sanctuary. Enjoy the city and bay views from the hotel window seats and conjure up any wish. The W staff credo is “Whatever our guests want, whenever they want it”, and their commitment to their guests whimsy is flawless.

How about a 1920’s historic landmark that shines as a part of San Diego’s history?  The Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Downtown is housed in a beautiful old bank complete with vaults, lovingly restored to its original glory! If you’re looking to visit the House of Blues for a night of live music, this hotel sits next door on the Gaslamp’s northern border close to the center of downtown. horton.grand.web

Do you have your own bay front resort? Well, we do. . .

The Manchester Grand Hyatt knows fine luxury and impeccable service. You’ll only need a short strut to the Convention Center and a quick jaunt to the Gaslamp to find what you’re looking for from fine food and unique Gaslamp boutiques.

Just make the call…room service awaits!
