KiFM Jazz Festival, Saturday 5/24/2008
Annual live Jazz music festival in the Gaslamp Quarter. It's always held on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. This year look for us on 5th Ave. & G Street. In addition to the music on the street, many clubs and restaurants feature Jazz bands.

5th Avenue btwn Market St and F St and G Street bwtn 4th & 6th Aves. begins at 6 am Saturday morning for build out and closure all day on 5/24 - Area closed to pedestrians at 11 am - event runs noon to 10 pm.
Streets reopen by 6 am (or better) on Sunday morning 3/18

Taste of Gaslamp, Saturday & Sunday, 6/14-15/2008
Downtown’s favorite eating extravaganza and urban food safari! Enjoy a delightful day in the historic Gaslamp Quarter, where you are involved in a self–guided walking tour. Event will be featuring tasty treats from our finest restaurants. Participants have the fun of visiting many unique, interesting locations and trying their delicious house specialties. Also, a special beer tasting garden, sponsored by the Samuel Adams family of fine beers.

Party Mardi Gras Gaslamp style. This Gaslamp-wide outdoor "Parade" celebration includes two spectacular parade on Fifth Avenue and a fabulous block party featuring several stages with live music acts. Enjoy tasty treats, cold beverages and beads, beads, beads. This event goes on rain or shine. Ticketed event/21 and up only. 6:00 p.m. to Midnight. Proceeds benefit Gaslamp Quarter Association (Fat Tuesday is on a different day each year based on the Christian season of Lent.)
