How does "The Taste of Gaslamp" work?

Your ticket is your passport to come down to the Gaslamp Quarter and sample menu specialties from more than 20 of our favorite locations per day. At "Will-call," you can pick up your walking maps, wristbands and an event survey.

From there you can visit the locations that interest you in any order you choose.
There are a few locations that are only open to patrons 21 and up but the event is suitable for everyone.  (Small children may not have the patience for the walking and waiting in line but if you feel comfortable you may bring them.)

You must buy a ticket for each guest and sharing is not permitted!

Vegetarians may not find adequate sampling opportunities or ingredients lists.
People with food allergies must participate at their own risk

Where is WILL-CALL?

On the corner of 5th Ave & Island Avenue
address for mapquest is 410 Island Ave

Where should I park?

We like the parking garage at
6th & Market called

"Park-it-on-Market"
(enter from either 6th Ave, travelling south past G St.
or turn North off Market up 7th)

&
"The 6th & K Parkade"
Enter from 6th Ave., travelling south past G St.
or turn North off K St. up 7th Ave.
& Tony Gwynn Parkway

Also look for these surface lots:

South
Midblock between Island & J Street - enter off 6th Ave
Near Harbor Towers and San Diego Wine & Culinary Center
at 2nd & Island

North
Near The Ramada at 6th & E
Behind Dakota at 6th & E
PLUS: there are two big garages off
7th Ave between E & Broadway
