The festival has something for everyone: Comedies, love stories, dramas, foreign, world issues, chick flicks, sports, action, music and more to satisfy your inner movie lover.

The San Diego Film Festival kicks off on Wednesday, September 24th at 7:00pm with Wild, starring Reese Witherspoon, straight out of Toronto Film Festival. Then, join in all the celebration at the Opening Night Party at Andaz San Diego. New for this year is the Live Music Lounge at Tin Roof on Friday, September 25 from 4-7pm and Saturday, September 26 from 3-6pm. Don't miss the 3rd Annual ALMOST FAMOUS Bash on Friday, September 26 at 9pm at Tin Roof.

The San Diego Film Festival features two Film Villages set in Downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter & ArcLight Cinemas La Jolla.
The San Diego Film Festival is produced by the educational nonprofit San Diego Film Foundation, the Festival is the foundations major fundraising event. The annual festival provides critical financial support for the Foundation’s efforts that benefits the operations and growth, enriches the arts community, supports educational outreach to students, showcases San Diego as an ideal film location, and as well, brings growing economic vitality to San Diego County.
