The Gaslamp Quarter Association hosts a great food sampling event each year, showcasing our chefs and world class restaurants.
This fantastic and delicious event provides an opportunity to test out many locations in one afternoon. We hope to see you here for the next great Tasting Event in June 2013!

How does "The Taste of Gaslamp" work?
Your ticket is your passport to come down to the Gaslamp Quarter and sample menu specialties from more than 30 of our favorite locations per day. Guests begin by turning in online paper tickets for walking maps and a sample ticket at our designated check in area. Tasters then visit places in any order they like. We doubt you can get to them all but you won't go home hungry! There are a few locations that are only open to patrons 21 and up, like our Samuel Adams Beer Garden but the event is suitable for nearly everyone. NOTE: The photos below were taken from previous Taste of Gaslamp events. They do not depict what will be served or who will be participating in this year's event. Stay tuned for an updated list of all participating locations!
You can show your appreciation to venues that impressed you by returning to those locations for your next big night out. Please let the manager know you discovered them at the TASTE OF GASLAMP. This event is a Fundraiser to benefit the Gaslamp Quarter Association, the non-profit merchants association of the Gaslamp Quarter. Proceeds enhance and protect this historic district.

Important notices: You must buy a ticket for each guest and sharing tickets is not permitted. 21 and up locations: there are a few locations that are only open to patrons 21 and up, but the event is suitable for all ages. Dietary restrictions: vegetarians may not find adequate sampling opportunities. Food allergies: completely accurate ingredient lists may not be available. Please use caution & participate at your own risk. Small children may not have the patience for the walking and waiting in line but if you feel comfortable you may bring them. Tickets will most likely sell out in the days leading up to the event.
