The Gaslamp Quarter is featured on the cover of the San Diego City Beat Restaurant Guide! This is the 3rd annual Restaurant Guide filled with terrific content such as recipes, restaurant listings, and promotions for all of San Diego. Make sure to pick one up today!
The Gaslamp Quarter Association was excited to be featured on the cover of the guide, not only because we are the premiere dining and entertainment district of San Diego, but also because we are celebrating our 150th Anniversary!
The cover depicts Gaslamp Quarter revelers dining in 19th century costumes filtered in a sepia tone, depicting the past with a modern backdrop and complete with the iconic arch in color. The Gaslamp Quarter Association’s Erin Liddell, and Sherry An toast to the 150th with General Manager of Reebok FitHub’s Cornell Stanton. The costumes were provided by Buffalo Breath who have moved to a new location, 5639 Kearny Mesa Road Suite B, and the delicious food was prepared by Chef Brian Moran from Lou and Mickey’s.
The guide not only features a creative cover but also many Gaslamp Quarter restaurants, bars, and cafes. There are even mouth watering recipes like, Pulpo a La Gellaga from Café Sevilla, Potato Crusted Sea Bass from Rustic Root, Smoked and Grilled Artichoke from Garage Kitchen + Bar, the Purrfect Mocha from the Cat Café, and Baked Venus Clams from Lionfish that is located in the new Pendry hotel.
The guide is available right now, at Citybeat kiosks, the San Diego Airport, and will be redistributed in April and again in June. You can also download a digital copy of the Restaurant Guide online, at sdcitybeat.com
