On February 15th we’re putting on our red cowboy boots and bringing you Challenge Accepted: A How I Met Your Mother Quiz at select Geeks Who Drink venues.

This quiz will cover all nine seasons of How I Met Your Mother and we totally reserve the right to ask about any associated books, spin-offs and anything else we feel like. Get familiar with the Bro Code. And yes, that includes the series finale. Sorry to put you through that again. Regular Geeks Who Drink rules apply. Los Angeles Azules

Los Angeles Azules are a Mexican group specialized in Cumbia ‘Grupera’ music formed in Mexico City, Mexico in 1976 by brothers Elias, Jose and Jorge Mejia Avante. The group’s musical genre can best be described as Colombian Cumbia and disco. In 2001, Lost Angeles Azules were nominated to the Billboard Latin American Music Awards, that same year, touring the U.S. to celebrate their 20th anniversary.

San Diego Theatre Week

San Diego Theatre Week is an exciting program of the San Diego Performing Arts League (SDPAL). The mission of San Diego Theatre Week is to highlight the variety and enhance the awareness of San Diego’s diverse performing arts community.

Participating performing arts groups will be offering a variety of special promotions during the week of February 15-25.  Tickets will be offered at $15, $30 and $45 levels.

Coming downtown for a show? Enjoy a three-course prix fixe meal at Osetra Seafood & Steaks, located at 904 Fifth Avenue, featuring their 16oz New York Strip before the show!

 OLP’s annual Spring Sing is a musical extravaganza that is produced and choreographed exclusively by students. This 45-year-old tradition promotes leadership, creativity, sisterhood and friendly competition among the classes. It is a spectacular show not to be missed!

Class of 2020: Aliens
Class of 2021: Pegasus

The classes will be judged by a panel of OLP alumnae each night.

It’s time for our bimonthly Sunday night CATS ON MATS session! Here’s your chance to enjoy a relaxing yoga session in the company of adoptable cats.

Your yoga guide, Laura McIntire, will lead you through a practice suitable for all levels. Throughout the event you’ll get the chance to interact with the kitties and some may even join you on the mat! A full espresso bar will be available after the practice as well as tea, and other drinks, and snacks.
