Fellow Downtown and Gaslamp Quarter business owners, the SDPD has recently developed a new Neighborhood Policing Division to deal with some of the issues most near and dear to us and our businesses.  They include but are not limited to:

  • Quality of Life issues in our neighborhoods, business districts, parks, beaches and recreational areas.
  • Narcotic complaints
  • Graffiti issues
  • Traffic concerns
  • Prostitution
  • Homeless outreach and crime issues associated with homelessness

This division is driven largely by community complaints which currently has us addressing homeless related issues.  SDPD has streamlined the process for reporting issues and improved responsiveness to community concerns.  We would like to introduce fellow business owners and management to this newly formed division and have them explain how they can help!
