Flamenco Dance Class with La Chimi

On a hot summer day, a cold glass of our signature fruit-infused sangria is enticing enough, but imagine when you pair it with an introductory Flamenco dance class with world renowned performer La Chimi! Come join us at Cafe 21 Gaslamp on Thursday, August 9th, from 5PM to 6PM. Our Flamenco dance class will cover bodywork, footwork and expression and topped off with our signature fruit-infused Sangria.

If you have ever been curious about Flamenco, then come learn from La Chimi and get your taste of all things Flamenco. As for your sangria, up to if you want your glass at the beginning of class for a bit of liquid courage or save it for the end to help cool off after all that dancing! And be sure to stay afterwards for La Chimi’s Flamenco show and live music starting at 7pm.

Class is $35/per participant

West Wing Trivia Night

Do you have most of your conversations while walking down impossibly long hallways?

Have you called the Butterball Hotline to talk about brining a turkey?

Do you long for a very different sort of president than the one we’ve got?

If so, vote for “When The Quizmaster Stands, Nobody Sits: A West Wing Quiz” on August 9th!

Our first ever West Wing theme quiz will cover all seven seasons of the legendary TV show. Yes, that includes the ones after Sorkin left. Deal. The whole thing is on Netflix right now, so get watching. Use of phones, tablets and other aids during the quiz is strictly prohibited and if you think otherwise just stand there in your wrongness and be wrong and get used to it.

Geeks Who Drink rules limit teams to a six player max and the quiz is $5 for each player to play. The internet people will go crazy for our winners, but more importantly they’ll take home a pile of cash. The more players, the bigger the pot. Your team is required to register for this quiz and you can do so here by visiting http://bit.ly/GWDWestWing
