Eating at 35 downtown restaurants could take a year. The 25th annual Taste of Gaslamp, presented by Karl Strauss, provides an opportunity to accomplish this epicurean feat in one delicious afternoon.
On Saturday, June 15, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., dozens of chefs will present mini versions of their popular dishes to impress the more than one thousand food fanatics who will gather in the Gaslamp to experience the neighborhood’s latest culinary offerings.
“Foodies love this event,” says Michael Georgopoulos, Chairman of the Gaslamp Quarter Association and co-owner of RMD Group, a hospitality company that owns and operates restaurants and bars in San Diego. “Taste of Gaslamp gives them the chance to experience a cross-section of new kitchens, check out seasonal menus at their established favorites and decide which venues will earn their ongoing patronage.”
