35th Annual San Diego Chinese New Year Fair

Lunar New Year may have been on January 28th but now you can celebrate again this weekend at the 35th Annual San Diego Chinese New Year Fair! The fair will be take place on Saturday and Sunday, February 11th & 12th, from 10AM – 5PM in San Diego’s historic Chinatown (Third Avenue and J Street)!

This year’s fair celebrates the year of the Rooster and is filled with spectacular dance and cultural performances, children’s activities and delicious street food that may be found at a night market in China, but all right here in Downtown San Diego!

The San Diego Chinese Historical Museum, located at 404 Third Avenue, is the education and cultural sponsor for this year’s Fair. They will be hosting an array of children’s activities throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday, including traditional Chinese arts and crafts, lucky fortunes, storytelling, book signing from an award-winning children’s book author (Dr. Virginia Loh-Hagan), and a special appearance from the San Diego Zoo’s baby panda mascot, Bamboo Panda!

Check below for the Children’s Activities Schedule and the Entertainment Schedule!
