Uncover Bols Genever at Prohibition’s Supper Club

Prohibition, the Gaslamp Quarter’s underground speakeasy located at 548 Fifth Ave., is getting crafty with supper and cocktails, with an exclusive four-course Supper Club dinner paired with cocktails made with Bols Genever on Monday, Sept. 17.

Styled as a “reverse pairing” dinner, GBOD Hospitality Group’s beverage director, Ryan Andrews, will craft four unique cocktails for the evening, each made with Bols Genever, which will be paired with four courses. Guests will also learn about Bols Genever and how each dish was created to complement the cocktail-forward menu.

Prohibition’s Bols Genever Supper Club is priced at $85 per person plus gratuity and will begin with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Space is limited and reservations may be made online at www.prohibitionsd.com/supper-club.

About Prohibition

In February of 2017 GBOD Hospitality took over management of Prohibition, a speakeasy known for its craft cocktails, where bartenders, rapturous live music and hypnotic lighting capture the elusive spirit of the 1920s-era underground bar scene. Prohibition, located at 548 Fifth Ave, is an underground bar and the stairs are located behind an inconspicuous “Law Office – Eddie O’Hare, ESQ.” door located adjacent to Havana 1920. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. with live music beginning at 9 p.m. Make sure to check out their summer menu with cocktails inspired by the San Diego neighborhood!
