Flamenco Dance Class with La Chimi
On a hot summer day, a cold glass of our signature fruit-infused sangria is enticing enough, but imagine when you pair it with an introductory Flamenco dance class with world renowned performer La Chimi! Come join us at Cafe 21 Gaslamp on Thursday, August 9th, from 5PM to 6PM. Our Flamenco dance class will cover bodywork, footwork and expression and topped off with our signature fruit-infused Sangria.
If you have ever been curious about Flamenco, then come learn from La Chimi and get your taste of all things Flamenco. As for your sangria, up to if you want your glass at the beginning of class for a bit of liquid courage or save it for the end to help cool off after all that dancing! And be sure to stay afterwards for La Chimi’s Flamenco show and live music starting at 7pm.

Shady Ladies and Hop Heads Historical Pub Crawl and Walking Tour
Our newest guided tour to hit the streets- and this time, the bars!- of the Gaslamp. Created in celebration of the 150thanniversary of the founding New Town San Diego, now downtown, the combination historical tour and pub crawlexplores the historic Gaslamp District. See the Gaslamp District in a new light
Follow your guides back in time to hear about the Gaslamp Quarter back when it was called the “Stingaree” and was infamous for its teeming red-light district. Learn about the historic buildings and colorful characters that populated them— and perhaps even meet a few of them along the way! Along the way enjoy a drink*- or just a seat- at three historic bars that are original to the Gaslamp Quarter.
The Shady Ladies and Hop Heads tour will take place one Friday a month! This is a 21+ tour.
