The Gaslamp Quarter Association wants to remind you that beginning on September 2nd, Fifth Avenue will be converted into a 3 minute passenger loading zone every Friday and Saturday night from 8pm until 3am. Now you can get to all your favorite Galleries, shops and restaurants safely and efficiently!

Downtown Ace Hardware
Expect to see your neighborhood Hardware store in a new light as towering sculptures, captivating paintings and pop music light up the night. Artists Efi Mashiah & Elena Bulatova will be featured in a wildly colorful showcase. The event kicks off the big annual Valspar Paint Sale with the immensely popular “Buy 1 Get 1 at 50% off” Sale. The team is looking to win $10,000 for Rady Children’s Hospital in a contest with other Ace Hardware partners and Valspar. The Winning store will score the donation for their hometown. FLUXX
A Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and producer who plays many instruments, Ty Dolla $ign (born Tyrone Griffin) became increasingly busy through an assortment of productions, co-writing credits, and guest spots. After a handful of mixtape releases, he released his first official singles through the Atlantic label: “My Cabana” (featuring Young Jeezy), “Irie” (featuring Wiz Khalifa), and “Paranoid” (featuring B.o.B). His Beach House EP landed in 2014 featuring production from DJ Mustard, Young Chop, and others. Appearances on Chris Brown and Tyga’s Fan of a Fan: The Album and Big Sean’s Dark Sky Paradise followed, then his hit single “Blase” landed in 2015, featuring Rae Sremmurd and Future. Debut album Free TC was also released that year, with a varied guest list that included Babyface, E-40, and Wiz Khalifa. Since then Ty has been dropping hit after hit and is now making his way back to San Diego to take over FLUXX for Labor Day Weekend!
