This month Lionfish Modern Coastal Cuisine has paired up with Angel’s Envy to present our monthly “Women & Whiskey” event.
Join us on Thursday, Sepatmber 28th from 7pm-9p as we host a night all-things whiskey – with tastings, food pairings, education and great times!
Angel’s Envy has teamed up with the Arbor Day Foundation for their “Toast the Trees” month-long promotion, where for every image posted on social media of our signature cocktail “The Guardian Angel” paired with the hashtag #AE4THETREES, Angel’s Envy will plant a brand-new oak tree this spring. This Month’s Women & Whiskey event will team up with Angel’s Envy and The Arbor Day Foundation to feature tastings of their portfolio, education from their Brand Ambassador, amazing menu-pairings from Chef JoJo Ruiz and cocktails by Bar Manager Micah Scott. Sam has performed in clubs and on festivals across the country and has written for shows on NBC and TNT. He currently writes animated content for Bleacher Report and produces one of LA’s longest running live stand up shows, Rod Stewart Live.

Dusty Rabbit Cocktail Contest & Giveaway
The “Dusty Rabbit” is a signature cocktail contest wherein merchants will honor the pioneering spirit of legendary founder, Alonzo Horton, who transformed “Rabbitville” into the thriving dining and entertainment district it is today! We’re challenging mixologists, bars, and restaurants from around the Gaslamp Quarter to create a cocktail named the Dusty Rabbit. Each location’s recipe is open to interpretation and may include any kind of spirit or alcohol uniquely reflective of the establishment.
Local mixologists are competing to develop our signature anniversary cocktail and we need your help to pick a winner! The Top 5 locations with the most engagement on Instagram and email will be served at our 150th Anniversary Birthday Party (Date TBD) and ticket holders to that event will then vote for their favorite Dusty Rabbit! Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House
The Davis-Horton House: Alive with Spirits from the Past?
Find out for yourself. Touted by many as, “the most haunted house in the Gaslamp Quarter,” the Davis-Horton House has become a highly popular place for investigating paranormal activities — occurrences that fall outside of what’s considered normal or that can’t be explained scientifically. Paranormal research teams present evidence to support their claims of having made contact with several house spirits. They’ve recorded voices, taken photos, and shot video to document their surprising findings. These other-worldly experiences are available to the public through monthly Paranormal Investigations tours, led by San Diego Ghost Hunters, a professional paranormal research team that conducts on-site investigations.
Since space is limited, we require that you make reservations and pay in advance for the Ghost Tour and Investigation. You may make your reservation via our website, or you can call for reservations at (619) 233-4692.
Admission for this two-hour tour and investigation is $40.00.
